| Summary | Emily became a tenant in 2004 following the successful completion of her pupillage in Chambers. She undertakes both court and advisory work in the areas of housing, business tenancies, administrative and local government law including landlord and tenant, mortgages, homelessness, housing benefit, anti-social behaviour, nuisance, disrepair and possession claims.
Emily has acted for public and private sector clients including a number of local authorities and she is frequently instructed by solicitors outside London. She has a good reputation for her knowledge and experience in cases involving allegations of anti-social behaviour (including appeals to the Crown Court and High Court). More recently, Emily has been instructed on a number of claims for judicial review for both claimants and defendants and has enjoyed particular success in cases concerning homeless applications. |

| Anti-Social Behaviour | All aspects of anti-social behavior including ASBOs in the Magistrate’s and County Court and appeals to the Crown Court, Parenting Orders, Individual Support Orders, Protection from Harassment Act 1997, Anti-Social Behaviour Injunctions and nuisance possession claims. | ||
