Arden Chambers is pleased to announce two seminars dealing with tenancies of commercial properties and, in particular, focussing on the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
The second seminar will examine in more detail the grounds on which a landlord can oppose a new lease and various other issues which arise in relation to business premises. The topics will be:
· Grounds of opposition to a new tenancy;
· Examining the lease/licence distinction in a commercial context;
· Attempts to avoid the protection of the LTA 1954; and
· Contracting out of the LTA 1954.
